| Dena, a trained dancer performing since childhood, has been studying Middle Eastern Dance since 2000 and performing professionally since 2004. Dena can be seen as a featured soloist in many area restaurants and is a highly sought after performer for private engagements. Additionally, she appears in an instructional Belly Dance DVD, Belly Dance with Your Daughter and has performed in Mosaic Dance Theater Company’s off-Broadway production of, The Fisherman and the Djinni. Dena is the Founder, Creative Director, and Choreographer for her own troupe, Dena and The Shazadi Dancers and teaches several classes per week. |
